Steep autumn banks in gold, ochre and soft coral lead the eye straight to a stepped white cascade, while the stream winds back into a hazy, sunlit gorge. Painted from imagination around a single V-shaped composition, it has the quiet glow of an early morning in the woods, when the mist hasn’t lifted yet.
