Deep in the evergreens, a small white cascade tumbles over the rocks and slips away between soft olive banks. The forest is built up in thick, glossy impasto — dark green shot through with flashes of gold — so the trees catch real light and almost seem to move, while a pale sky glimmers through the canopy above.
Part of a small series of woodland falls, with Rose Sky Over the Falls and The Quiet Spillway.
Medium: Oil on canvas panel, heavy impasto
Size: 10 × 8 in
Frame: Black wood frame, ready to hang
One of a kind. There is only one, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.
Ships within 5 business days, insured. Allow 1–2 weeks for delivery.
