A wide curtain of icy blue-white water sweeps across the river and spills into a still lavender pool, beneath a forest of violet and plum touched with hints of teal. The trees are built up in fine, shimmering texture, while the falls and water are laid in smooth, cool strokes, giving the scene a quiet, dreamlike calm somewhere between twilight and the first cold of winter.
